We have just been informed that our cistern article won the Instructables "Be Prepared" Contest!

We just collected a bottle of duckweed, which we have dumped into the barn's tank.

I haven't blogged in two weeks and thought I'd do a general catch-up on what we've been up to.

The cistern is now finished and has water in it!

The new cistern's walls are up. We're just waiting for the rain to stop, so we can put in the liner and make the roof.

We have started work on a new 6,000 gallon water tank for the main house catchment system.

We caught some more fish for the barn tank.
