The barn now has a roof and gutters, and has caught some rain.

The frame of the barn is now up and welded in place.  Everything is now ready for the covering.

Construction of the Food Web model system has now begun. It's exciting!

There is almost nothing faster than a metal roof, so if speed is your priority, metal is a great option. However, it is expensive, not particularly durable, heats up in the sun and is loud in the rain.  

Metal is expensive, but it is strong and fast. It can be an invaluable item while building your home, having so many different uses.

As the price of metals has increased, so too has the value of metal junk. You can sell any old metal, but it is often more efficient if you can use it yourself.
